Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2013, Alexis Bessis advises companies, executives and investors on complex business law disputes and litigation-related matters.
Before joining the firm, he practiced for more than ten years with leading international law firms, including Allen & Overy LLP and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where he handled matters involving significant financial, strategic and reputational exposure.
His practice focuses on business litigation, including complex commercial disputes, post-acquisition litigation, shareholder disputes, directors’ liability matters and issues relating to corporate governance.
Alexis intervenes at all stages of litigation risk, from upstream risk assessment and dispute prevention to the conduct of proceedings before French civil, commercial and criminal courts, as well as in international arbitration.
He also advises clients on the strategic resolution of disputes, including pre-litigation negotiations, mediation and conciliation, with a pragmatic approach aimed at protecting both economic interests and reputational exposure.
Alexis is a member of the Association Droit & Procédure and the Association des Professionnels du Contentieux des Affaires (APCA)
